ELITE - R.45
The R.45 wheel set is light, strong and fast and the size makes it great for road riding. It is also a popular choice for those wanting to enter cycle racing or draft legal triathlon events.
UCI certification is needed for most of the above event categories and both the clincher and tubular versions of the R.45 wheels have been put through the UCI certification process so they can be used in any event category.
ELITE wheels come with a choice of subtle Outline logos or the stealthy looking Shadow logos.
For the ultimate in performance and quality the wheels are fitted standard with DT Swiss 240 SP Hubs. The high quality DT Swiss Hub has better rolling performance and improved aerodynamics thanks to hidden spoke termination.
ELITE wheels come in either rim brake or disc brake configuration.
If you are racing with rim brakes and ever need to slow down, the high temperature brake track and high performance Swissstop brake pads do this safely for both you and your wheels.
ELITE series carbon clincher race wheels are 26mm wide. The 26mm wheel gives the option of fitting a 23mm, 25mm or 28mm tyre with each size having it's own advantages.
ELITE wheel sets are tubeless tyre compatible and come with optional plugs to cover spoke holes.
NOTE. Some older bike frames have problems fitting wider wheels so please check your frame before proceeding to purchase.
