ELITE - R.70 (front wheel)
This 70mm front wheel is a great choice for stronger riders to match with a deep dish R.80 or full disc rear - Talk to us about creating the perfect solution for your needs.
We have found for most riders that the 55mm wheel is the optimal choice for a front wheel and on the rear, the 80mm dish provides great aerodynamic and centrifugal momentum advantage. For stronger confident riders though, this 70mm front matched with the R.80 rear becomes a faster solution.
The next generation Elite series TLR carbon race wheels are improved both in performance and looks.
For the ultimate in performance and quality, the wheels are fitted standard with quality DT Swiss 240 SP Hubs. The high-quality DT Swiss Hub has better rolling performance and improved aerodynamics thanks to hidden spoke termination.
ELITE wheels come in either rim brake or disc brake configuration. If you are racing with rim brakes and ever need to slow down, the high-temperature brake track and high performance Swissstop brake pads do this safely for both you and your wheels.
ELITE wheels come with a choice of subtle Outline logos or stealthy looking Shadow logos.
ELITE series carbon clincher race wheels are 26mm wide. The 26mm wheel gives the option of fitting a 23mm, 25mm or 28mm tyre with each size having its advantages.
ELITE wheel sets are tubeless tyre compatible and come with optional plugs to cover spoke holes.
NOTE. Some older bike frames have problems fitting wider wheels so please check your frame before proceeding to purchase.
